THE ADMISSION PROCESS
Admissions
The Stable School accepts students with an EHC Plan or a statutory EHC needs assessment that is underway and approaching conclusion. Referrals are made by Local Authority SEND Teams.
The Stable School recognise the importance of ensuring a potential new student’s needs are well understood and can be robustly met by the provision on offer at our school.
Where school believes we may be able to offer placement we will progress our need exploration process.

Referalls for School Placement
We will invite the student and their family for an initial visit. We will also explore the student’s current needs with their family and their most recent school or educational provider. If considered appropriate we will invite the student back for a second visit during which they will spend some time in a class group.
At the conclusion of our need exploration process we will advise the student’s family and the Local Authority if we will offer placement.
